Keeton Park to Host First Annual Kay Kup

PGA Master Professional Kim Brown recently announced the formation of a new amateur tournament which will be hosted by Keeton Park Golf Course in Dallas on August 6-8. The event will honor Bill Kay, the soon to retire director of the Dallas Public Links and USGA Committee Member. "Bill Kay has accomplished so much for amateur public golf in Northern Texas over the past 'zillion' years that I thought a tournament honoring him was only appropriate," said Brown, Honorary President of the Northern Texas PGA. "The intended stature of the event is to surpass most other public course amateur events in the metroplex."

The Kay Kup will be open to any amateur with an established handicap who plays at least some public golf courses or has participated in any event associated with Bill Kay in the past. Please review the Keeton Park web site for more information.
