Tom Ward
Tom Ward has set 16 course records in his golfing career which was cut short due to rotator cuff surgery, however in 1981 he tied a world's record by shooting a "57" on a par 70 course. That -13 under par score made the Guiness Book of World Record's for a score on a regulation course of 6,000 yards which used to be the standard. The criteria has been changed recently to make a golf course over 6,500 yards, yet Tom's record tying performance was in the world record book for over 10 years.
