Steve has been a PGA member since October 1989. He began apprenticeship in PGA at Bear Creek Golf Club, DFW Airport, which was completed at Fossil Creek Golf Club, Ft. Worth.
Brown served as Head Golf Professional with Jim Colbert Golf at Briarwood Golf Club, Baton Rouge Louisiana and Shandin Hills Golf Course, San Bernardino California. He became Head Professional at Peppermill Palms Resort, Mesquite, Nevada. Later Brown returned to Texas and joined American Golf Corp. at Riverside Golf Club.
Brown was then promoted to General Manager/ Head Golf Professional at Mesquite Golf Course (3 years), transferred to same position at Riverside Golf Club, (1 1/2 years, transferred again to same position at Twin Wells Golf Course, Irving (2 years). Resigned from Twin Wells to pursue opportunities within the private club side of the industry. Joined staff at Squaw Creek (semi-private facility) in August of this year.
He was just named Vice President of Metro Chapter, Northern Texas Section of PGA.
Married 13 years, Wife Lori, Children: Brooks Anthony age 12, Royal Edward age 8, Ariel Daron age 7.
