Cathy Mant - LPGA Teaching Professional

Cathy Mant, a teaching professional at Leonard Golf Links, has a strong background both as a player and an instructor. A three-time Oregon Women’s Amateur Champion, she won the Women’s NCAA Championship along with several other college tournaments while attending Arizona State.

She then played ten years on the LPGA Tour, and in 1985, served as President of the LPGA.

She has devoted the past ten years to full time teaching in Oregon and Hawaii, and has experienced great success with juniors.

She has gained the reputation as a dedicated instructor of junior golf evidenced by the success of her junior students. A number of her students have gone on to receive college scholarships and two players have joined the professional ranks.

In 1989, Cathy was inducted into the National Golf Coaches Hall of Fame.

Presently, Cathy is serving as a USGA Junior Girls' Representative for Texas and a member of Titleist and Foot-Joy Worldwide Women's Advisory Board.
